Happy Fall, my friends! Oh my goodness - - where is this year going?!
Each season has special blessings, but I must say that the Fall season is my very, very favorite season of all. The cooler temperatures (which hopefully will arrive soon!), colorful leaves, and pumpkin everything makes me smile! 😊
I'm preparing to attend a Christian Writers' Conference, but after I arrive home again, I *will* (finally!) begin posting my CatMom Chats with... posts, and I'm super excited about these! I will be featuring some brief interviews with special writer friends---both published and yet-to-be published. There might be a few prizes given out now and then too. 😉
The photo I've posted shows some of my favorite trees dressed in Fall attire (from several years ago). At the moment these trees are still wearing green, but I'm sure by late October or early November, the colors will change.
Enjoy this beautiful season!

Easter Blessings and a New Book!
Today is Good Friday, and despite my long To-Do list, I'm making sure I take time to reflect on the meaning of this day. Thinking of what Jesus did for all of us---for you and me---takes my breath away. He gave His life, so we can have eternal life---if we only believe.
I pray that your Easter weekend is filled with special blessings, and that you'll reflect on this Holy weekend and all that it means. We can still enjoy time with family, egg hunts, and good food (and candy!). But most importantly may we all remember that Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for us - - No Greater Love. 💜
I would also like to announce my 3rd book, which just released! This is the third book in my "Emerald Coast Romances" series, and I'll admit that I fell in love with this coastal community on Florida's panhandle. If only it wasn't a fictional place, LOL.
In Tune With Romance features a widowed heroine who wants to start her own business, but is plagued by her late husband's stepmother harassing her. The divorced hero is a piano tuner, trying to make a fresh start after moving to Coastal Breeze. He deals with painful memories of his failed marriage, but is moving forward. Then a cousin visits, and traumatic memories from childhood resurface. Can a couple who are polar opposites find romance and a lasting love? I hope my readers will enjoy this sweet story! 😍

Coming Soon: Author Spotlights!
I've featured author interviews on my blog in the past, but have decided I'd like to make this a regular feature in CatMom's Corner. 😊 So, I plan to feature interviews with different authors - - at least for the remainder of 2019! Reading these interviews is an easy way to learn more about various authors, and hopefully you'll discover some new books to read.
Since becoming published, I've been very blessed to be a featured guest on other blogs, so it makes me happy to host authors on my blog. I'll also continue having some of my "regular" blog posts too, so I hope if you visit you'll consider leaving a comment.
Happy February!! And happy reading! 💗
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. Colossians 3:17

With This Pledge (Book Recommendation!)
Author Tamera Alexander has been one of my very, very favorite authors for quite some time. In fact, I've genuinely loved every book she's written!
Her newest book, With This Pledge, is a Civil War story, set in 1864 at the Battle of Franklin in Tennessee. This story features actual events and people, and does not gloss over how things were at that time. Tamera Alexander has a gift for pulling the reader into the story, and making you feel as though you're actually there - - witnessing the horrors of war, but also sweet, touching moments between characters. She's thoroughly done her research, and it shows clearly in her writing.
Even if you're not usually a reader of historical romance, I highly recommend reading this book. A story that will keep you turning pages and tug at your heart. A definite winner!!

Giving Thanks in Every Season
Our Thanksgiving holiday was last week, so I've been reading a lot of postings by folks about being thankful. 😊 These make me smile, and also remind me that we all have so much to be thankful for - - especially those of us living in houses that keep us sheltered, with plenty of food to eat and clothes to wear.
Yet I've been thinking that I need to be more thankful all throughout the year - - and express my thankfulness no matter what the season or circumstances. I like to think that God smiles when we thank Him for little things---maybe things that others might take for granted---but are still blessings from Him.
Today I'm not only feeling blessed by all I have---family, friends, health---but I'm noticing the gorgeous Autumn day outside my window. Sunshine, blue skies, and my beautiful Bradford Pear tree in my backyard---it's putting on a glorious show for me right now!
Even on days when the weather is dreary, my health isn't so great, and I just don't feel motivated to accomplish much, may I still give thanks for the many blessings I have---especially being a child of God. Knowing that He loves me makes every day Thanksgiving. 💛

Christmas with the Cowboy (Book Spotlight)
This week I'm featuring a bit of Christmas at CatMom's Corner! My friend (and AMAZING Author) Tina Radcliffe has a new book out this month from Love Inspired, and it's delightful. Here's the description from the back cover of Tina's book:
Former Navy SEAL Zach Norman has been avoiding his ranching roots--and the woman he couldn't have. Back to visit his brother's widow, Emma Maxwell Norman, and her adorable toddler twins, the bah-humbug cowboy is roped into helping prepare the ranch for the holidays. Working side by side, can Emma and Zach overcome their troubled past...and receive the greatest Christmas gift of all---love?
I highly recommend this book and happily give it Five Stars! To share some early Christmas cheer, I've purchased 2 copies to give away - - my personal copy is remaining on my Keeper Shelf! If you'd like to have your name in a drawing for a print copy, please leave a comment below. (US residents only, please)
